  1. Fire in Torres del Paine park in Chile is out of control
The news is about torres del paine in Chile
one of most beautifull south american parks
a fire destroyed more than 14,000 acres of patagonian land. Winds of more than one hundred km / h helped the spread of fire.
125 firemen, aircraft and soldiers are trying to control the flames but strong winds and the topography are hampering the efforts.

the chilean authorities has been forced to close Torres del Paine national park.
Hundreds of tourists have been evacuated from the area.

this is not the first fire in the area, in 2005 the fire had already razed the park.

  2. Is Rome's Colosseum falling apart?

The news says that the emblem of the Roman Empire, the Colosseum ,built almost 2000 years ago, is considered one of the greatest works of Roman architecture.
Now, environmentalists are scared, because the monument may be crumbling. They claim that the emissions and vibrations from the cars, and subways, are damaging the monument. But the Colosseum authorities say it is not cause for panic.
But something must happen over the state of the building to warrant a $ 33 million restoration project.

  5. The notice talk about the police of Chile, they are arrested two women, aged 72 and 80 after finding cocaine and cash in their home. It's thought that the women have been selling the drug the area for years. Police entered at house at night and found two kilos of cocaine and about 65,000 dollars in cash. the women had a younger and more agile accomplice to sell the drug. The house that the women used as their base is just a few metres from Chile's biggest police academy. Prosecutors say the women should be taken into preventative custody while their case is considered. Because of their frail state of health.

  8. I chose this story because I'm a fan of Charlie Sheen. Charlie Sheen had many problems with alcohol and had to leave the show "Two and a Half Men" but this story says it's a new man and will be responsible for his family, is good news for fans of the actor. Sheen, 46, couldn't be more Zen about his new FX show, "Anger Management," in which he will star and produce. He reports that casting is underway and that they will shoot 10 episodes in six weeks.

  9. In San Francisco want to ban McDonald's boxes, which carry toys for children. Believe you should give toys to healthy foods and encouraging children to not eat so much fast food. Nearly 20% of American children are obese.
San Francisco has become the first major US city to ban fast-food restaurants from giving away toys with meals that don't meet nutritional guidelines. McDonald's sent senior executives to the city to oppose the measure and they said that: "Parents tell us it's their right and responsability to make their own decisions and to choose what's right for their children."

The news says that the first auction of the New Year at Tokyo's Tsukiji fish market is always closely watched. But when the bidding was over the bluefin tuna had become the most expensive fish in history. The buyer was the owner of a chain of sushi restaurants. The fish was caught off Aomori, just north of the coast battered by the disaster.

  11. The report talks about Tintin, my favorite cartoon's when I was a children. The famous ginger quiff of Tintin has wowed fans for decades. Travelling the world on wild adventures with his dog. But the language and imagery used in the comic which has caused outrage in those critical of it. The Belgian writer and illustrator, Hergé who wrote them, later said he regretted writing it - a youthful bit of fun which reflected the prejudices of the time. A Congolese man wants the book to carry a warning to alert readers that the book may cause offence.

  12. Is the beer-goggle effect real?
The news I have chosen is about an experiment that scientist did in a pub of London.
The experiment is about the phenomenon called beer google, this refers that drinking too much alcohol makes people attracted to someone they would not normally be attracted to when sober.
The scientist showed two pairs of pictures with the faces of people. In one photo the face is manipulated to be more simetric because it seems to be more attractive.
The result is that sober people tend to choose the simetric face as the most attractive rather than druk people.

  13. Motor shoes with wheels developed for commuting

The notice it’s about the brainchild of Peter Tredway. His creation is SpnKiX, a pair of motor shoes with wheels developed for commuting. With the motor shoes the people can move more quickly to their work and make it fun. Basically it is composed for a loader inside, a battery in the back and a light reflector. This object is controlled by a remote, basically speak control.
The idea came up when he have problems to find parking. When he went to the station to get the train it didn´t find parking. He seem the reaction of people it is maybe already been crazy, because their can believe exists in the real world.
